Attractive antique small Victorian pine washstand.
A lovely small Victorian pine washstand. We date this washstand to the second half of the 19th century.
The washstand sits on downward tapered turned legs.
There is a gallery to the rear of the top surface which features a bank of art nouveau torquoise coloured tiles.
There is a small drawer to the front of the washstand.
The washstand has an overall height of 41" (104cm), a main top surface height of 30" (76cm), a width of 34.5" (88cm) and a depth of 20" (51cm).
This attractive Victorian washstand remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There a few minor marks and indentations from past use.
This remains a very stylish & elegant Victorian washstand, it will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.

A lovely antique dressing table. We date this dressing table to the very early 20th century.
The dressing table consists of a large protruding central drawer flanked by a recessed curved cupboard to each side. There is a decorative carved gallery to the rear and a green leather writing surface with a glass top. The dressing table could easily be a writing desk if the glass was removed.
The drawer is fitted with decorative handles mounted on backplates and the cupboards are fitted with drop handles mounted on backplates.
The dressing table has an overall height of 34" (87cm) including gallery, a table height of 30" (76cm), a width of 53" (135cm) and a depth of 24.5" (63cm) at deepest.
This lovely antique dressing table remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some minor wear to some of the edges and a couple of light marks to the top of the gallery. One rear leg has an old repair.
This remains a very stylish and elegant dressing table that would function well as a writing desk which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.

A lovely washstand. We date this washstand to the late 19th century.
The washstand sits on four attractive well turned legs.
The washstand has a shapely carved mahogany gallery to the rear and sides with a full width drawer below that is fitted with two dividers.
There is a lower shelf below with a shapely carved edge to the front and sides.
Both the top table surface and the lower shelf have a dark green vinyl inset.
The washstand has an overall height of 40" (102cm) including the gallery, a table top height of 38" (96cm), a width of 44.5" (113cm) and a depth of 21.5" (55cm).
This lovely rustic mahogany washstand remains in good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The vinyl inserts have quite a bit of wear and marks.
The washstand has some indents, scratches and marks throughout and a couple of pieces of veneer missing from the lower tier. There are a number of old worm holes that have been treated twice to make sure. There was a lock on the drawer that had been removed at some time in the past.
This remains a stylish and elegant washstand. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
